New Product Strategy:

Is your family overwhelmed with the busyness of life? Do you feel like you have no time to just enjoy a moment with one another? Would you like to sit down with your family to a fresh,delicious, homemade dinner without all the prep work? You can with the Sous Chef! It cost no more than you shopping for all the ingredients and no ordering necessary.Look for Sous Chef in your local supermarket.

Idea Generation:

Sous Chef will come in 1, 2, and 3 servings to make buying more convenient to the consumer. Each prepackaged meal will come ready to prepare without buying ANY additional ingredients. The consumer will take home a prewashed and seasoned protein, precut vegetable, carbohydrate, spices, seasonings, flavored liquids, anything needed for that meal and specific instructions on cooking. Meals are never frozen nor any preservatives used. All meals ready in thirty minutes just enough time to gather the family and set the table. Many familiar brand names have come on board to supply ingredients. Supermarkets that carry Sous Chef will have a cold case just for the meals in order to make purchasing quick. The trays will be compartmentalized and stackable in the refrigerator. Meals can be bought a week in advanced so shopping and planning for the week is done in one day!

Idea Screening:

We will approach high-end supermarkets like Wegmans and Publix, because these the stores sell trendy items. We will meet representatives of these high-end supermarkets to discuss modifying and continuation of the Sous Chef. We will also ask permission, from these stores, to place intriguing signs about Sous Chef with our facebook page posted on them. On our facebook page we will have information about our product and a survey asking about interest in this new product.

Business Analysis:

Sous Chef will increase sells for partner companies. As with the popular product Lunchables, we will utilized other brands in our product.

Customers will find Sous Chef to enhance their lives. They will enjoy more free time for what they love and less time prepping and cleaning dinner. With all this they will appreciate a fresh, healthy meal.

We will see a demand for Sous Chef, because there is no additional cost compared to buying all the ingredients individually due to mass production. The convenience of this healthy, fresh, easy ,meal alone will sell the product and we will profit.

Selling based on the understanding of the importance of time with family will enhance the company's image.


Development:

Through simultaneous product development we work with all involved to develop prototypes. By utilizing partners and their facilities, cost and time will be minimized.

Test Marketing:

We will place concessions with samples of Sous Chef in the metropolitan high-end supermarkets first. Survey those consumers who seem interested at the concessions.

Commercialization:

Sous Chef will be marketed through commercial, online advertising, coupons, and endorsements. By listening to customers; being prudent in fresh, excellent quality ingredients; constantly being ahead of the new trends with new product development, and strong leadership we will experience great success.
